Topics can be even too general if they are of non-fiction writing like biography, history, government, science, and even poetry. At a college level, students can use one of the themes in the area of their own interest.Themes can also be changed to better fit the theme of the essay. Ex: theme that you may use in your history teacher subject would have to be changed to the theme of your favorite author. So if you like Bruce Lee, you can change the theme to Bruce Lee. If you like romanticism, you can change the theme to Romanticism or any other genre that you enjoy.First and foremost, this is a learning purpose not a contest. You want to increase your grades. You want to improve your topic and theme choice and increase your intellectual skills. That is why these themes are so important.If you're hoping to win a hig her grade, don't bother with this task because you will just cost yourself time and money because you are focusing on something that you know to be boring.
